INFORMATION FOR BOGAZIÇI UNIVERSITY PHILOSOPHY MAJORS

 

 

ACADEMIC SCHEDULE: First/Last Day of Class

Spring 2006 Semester:  Jan. 12 to May 5
Fall 2006 Semester:  Aug. 21 to Dec. 8

Spring 2007 Semester:  Jan. 11 to May 4

 

Each semester has 15 weeks of classes, plus five holidays.  In the Spring Semester, these holidays are all in a one-week spring break around the third week of March.  Final exams are scheduled during the week following the end of classes.

Small single room:   $2846   (+ $304)

Off-campus Housing: Students often find cheaper accommodations in rental apartments off-campus, usually shared with one or more students.  Our department will try to put students in touch with others looking for roommates for off-campus apartments.

 

TUITION AND FEES

 Boğaziçi University students participating in the exchange program with Kansas State University will pay their normal tuition and registration fees to Boğaziçi University.  Kansas State University will waive all tuition and registration fees for Boğaziçi University students visiting under the exchange agreement.
